My veges

The vegetables have done really well this year due to the break in the drought

Cucumbers I habe already harvested quite a few cucumbers and we have had salad on a regular basis
We have had the odd red tomatoeo and as soon as they ripen we pick them to beat the birds
We had beans for dinner today and I have frozen a few for future use

View of the vege patch.  We moved it from the back of the yard to the front of the fruit trees as they were getting very little direct light at the back.  The fruit trees have grown and were casting a shadow on the vege patch

 View of the tomato bushes
Beans and onions to the left

Honeyeater

I heard a beautiful chirping noise coming from the apple tree in the backyard this evening so I crept out to investigate with camera in hand and I was rewarded with this shot - a New Holland Honeyeater
